Grab a friend and come give softball a try this fall! We are thrilled at the positive outpouring of support for New Canaan Softball. Join our successful, self-esteem building program where we teach the game of softball and stress the importance of being a team player.
FALL Little League Softball (Grades 1-9)
New Canaan Softball has aligned our Divisions to enhance the skills and aptitude of our players at all ages and development levels. Our youngest divisions are grade-based, providing for positive social interactions and ease of scheduling with other sports. Our older divisions are age and ability based, consistent with other national softball programs. Grouping players of similar ability provides the greatest developmental environment for our players while also maximizing safety. Players in first grade will be placed together. Players in grades 2-8 will be placed on teams based on their Spring evaluation scores and end of season coach evaluations.
League Registration Fees
First Grade $85
Grades 1-9 $195
The Town of New Canaan collects a field use fee of $20 per player per calendar year that is included in the softball program fee at the time of registration.
Scheduling and Volunteer Opportunities
New Canaan Softball encourages children to participate in multiple sports and activities, which develops well-rounded youth. We ask that within your registration you provide us with the other activities that your child will be participating in during the spring season so we can attempt to minimize conflicts when placing girls on their respective teams. Final schedules will not be available until the first week of September. Additionally, we are always looking for volunteers to become head coaches, assistant coaches, or to help the Board with our league events. If you would like to volunteer please also indicate that within your registration.
